How the Poople word ladder solver works
Each word is a node. An edge connects two words that differ by one letter. Breadth-first search checks routes in increasing move count, so the first route to POOP is shortest within the loaded vocabulary.
A missing route does not mean the official game has no solution. The dictionary snapshot may differ from a later game version. Excluding words can lengthen a route or remove all available routes.
