Poople game: build a route to POOP
In the Poople game, the starting word and target are visible. Change exactly one letter at each step, keeping its position and making a valid four-letter word. Reach POOP with as few moves as you can. You are finding connected words, not guessing a hidden answer.
For example, TIPS to TOPS to BOPS to BOOS to BOOP to POOP is a five-move ladder in our vocabulary snapshot. Every transition changes one letter. A move can be useful even when it does not make the word look more like POOP.
Wordle: identify a hidden five-letter word
Wordle gives you six guesses to identify a hidden five-letter word. Feedback shows which letters match and which are in the correct positions. A guess can change several letters; it does not have to connect to the previous guess by a one-letter move.

Which solving habits carry over?
Checking spelling and considering alternative words help in both games. However, a Wordle opener chosen to test many letters is not necessarily useful in Poople: it must differ from your current word in exactly one position. In Poople, plan connections toward bridge words such as POOL or BOOP. In Wordle, use the feedback to narrow the hidden answer.
